Spruce Grouse

General description.

The Spruce Grouse is also known as the Canadian Spruce Grouse, the Black Grouse, and the "fool hen" due to its lack of fear of humans. The Spruce Grouse is mainly found on in Canada today The male Spruce Grouse is a large gray bird with a jet black throat. The breast is black and white, and the wings and back include brown.
